1. The Organiser of this competition (‘the Competition’) and Data Controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (‘GDPR’) and other applicable data protection law is OneSavings Bank plc or one of its subsidiaries (including but not limited to Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and Charter Court Financial Services Limited t/a Precise Mortgages), registered office Reliance House, Sun Pier, Chatham, ME4 4ET (‘the Organiser’), any correspondence in relation to the Competition should be sent to the following email address: events@osb.co.uk.
  2. The Competition is open only to individuals over the age of 18 years who are currently working in the United Kingdom as a mortgage intermediary.
  3. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
  4. Only one entry per person can be submitted.
  5. The Competition will open at 9:00am on Friday 21 October 2022 (the ‘Opening Date’) and close at 4.30pm on Friday 21 October 2022 (the ‘Closing Date’). Entries received after that time will not be considered.
  6. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for entries not submitted due to a technical fault of any kind.
  7. Three prizes are available:
    1. First Prize – 1 x £150.00, John Lewis Voucher
    2. Second Prize – 1 x £100.00, John Lewis Voucher
    3. Third Prize – 1 x £75.00, John Lewis Voucher OR £75.00 subscription for Bloom and Wild; (together the ‘Prizes’)
  8. Entrants should refer to the terms and conditions (see below) of the Prize provider before entering the Competition. The Organiser is not responsible for any issues relating to the booking or use of the Prizes.
  9. The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to reject any entries if they are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive by the Organiser.
  10. To enter the Competition, entrants must;
    1. Visit the Organiser’s stand at the MAB Conference; and
    2. Follow the instructions set on the Organiser’s Exhibition Precise Mortgages, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries & InterBay stand which will be located on location 53 in the exhibition hall; and
    3. Participate in the Plinko Board Game which involves attempting to drop 3 x pucks (1x branded Precise Mortgages, 1x branded Kent Reliance for Intermediaries & 1x branded InterBay) into the correct brand slot on the Plinko Board Game. Any pucks that land into the correctly branded slots will then receive the points that are displayed on the individual slot
    4. The winner for 1st Prize will be determined by the highest score achieved with the 3 x pucks
    5. If there is more than 1 entrant with the same highest score, then those entrants will be put into a prize draw and the winner selected by using a computerised random prize generator
    6. The winner for 2nd Prize will be determined by the second highest score achieved with the 3 x pucks
    7. If there is more than 1 entrant with the same second highest score, then those entrants will be put into a prize draw and the winner selected by using a computerised random prize generator
    8. The winner for 3rd Prize will be determined by the third highest score achieved with the 3 x pucks
    9. If there is more than 1 entrant with the same third highest score, then those entrants will be put into a prize draw and the winner selected by using a computerised random prize generator
  11. If an entry is not submitted in accordance with paragraph 10 above, it will be rejected and will not be entered into the competition.
  12. The winner(s) will be selected on 1 November 2022 from all valid entries between the Opening and Closing Date by either having the highest score or using a computer process that produces verifiably random results.
  13. The winner(s) will be notified by email no later than 4 November 2022 and must provide an email address or postal delivery address for their prize to be delivered. The Prize(s) will sent to the delivery address provided by the winner(s). Should a winner fail to provide their email or delivery address within 14 days of being contacted by the Organiser, the Prize(s) will be forfeited.
  14. All entrants who fulfil the criteria detailed above at paragraph 10 will have an equal chance of winning the Competition.
  15. The Prize(s) may not be exchanged for cash or any other payment or discount and are not transferable.
  16. The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the Prize(s) or substitute for one of equivalent value if for any reason beyond its control the original Prize(s) becomes unavailable. Any changes will be displayed on the Organiser’s internet page.
  17. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into about such decisions.
  18. The Competition is not open to employees of the Organiser, or any of their families.
  19. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Competition at any time without notice.
  20. By entering this Competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  21. The Organiser will process the personal data of the entrants (name, email, business postcode and business name) in accordance with its obligations pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection law for the purposes of the administration of the Competition.

  23. The entrants and winners may be asked to take part in reasonable post event publicity and for their name and photographs to be used in such publicity. The entrants and winners will be given the chance to object to such publication, or ask for less information to be published.
  24. If any entrant and/or winner wishes to withdraw their consent for use of their name and image for the above purposes at any stage, they should contact the Organiser at events@osb.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the Organiser before the entrant withdraws their consent.
  25. The winners surname and county of residence will be available 14 days after 4 November 2022 by emailing the following address events@osb.co.uk.
  26. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
  27. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize(s) to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  28. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising in relation to the Competition.
